Nick Bender recently wrapped his role of John in the short film, Hernandez, with Cheevies Film Productions. Look for it on at www.cheeviesfilms.com in February.

Bender was featured in One Tear Productions music video as a trumpeter in Christine Elizabeth's new single, Skyhigh. The video will make its debut on February 23rd at Chicago's Double Door.

Bender's feature film, Murder for Pleasure, in which he stars as Victor Vogel, is nearing completion. The trailer was screened at the Indie Incubator Film Festival in Chicago and the music video was screened at the New Filmmakers Film Festival in New York City. Bender's short film, Hypnocus Pocused, won Best Acting, Audience Choice and Best Picture at the 2011 Columbia University National Film Festival, Best Student Produced Film at the 2011 Naperville Independent Film Festival and was nominated for Best Professional Short at the 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. Bender's feature film, The Interrogation, in which he stars as Charlie Rutherford, premiered in December of 2010 at the Portage Theater in Chicago.
